Réjean Chatillon

Born in 1953, Réjean Chatillon attended the IUSMM workshop from 1992 to 1999.

Réjean’s drawings are sometimes abstract and sometimes figurative. They are very often accompanied by texts written in pencil in the third person singular, which refer to his life and his moods: “Réjean Châtillon, a Human Being Who Seeks to Understand His Body, His Head, His Life”, or even “Réjean, When Things Are Going Well, He Is in Another World”. He painted in particular a picture of a dog. Entitled “The Stinking Dog” (1997), this work was the subject of an article by Lise Bissonnette.
