Renée Bernard

Renée Bernard had a beautiful childhood with her parents. It was at Cégep that everything changed: “I fell apart … I was no longer the Renée from before.” Her voices, which were threatening at first, have become an inspiration over the years. Supported by the love of her family, she has succeeded in adding color to her life. For more than 20 years, she has expressed, often in black and white, her anxieties through schematic faces of different sizes. Some are just a few inches, others over five feet. They are frequently accompanied by texts describing her moods.
