Parle-moi d'amour Montréal
Proud of the success of the very first online edition of Parle-moi d’amour in 2020, Les Impatients are now adapting the experience, opting this time for a hybrid formula. This time, it will be possible to bid on site or from anywhere in Quebec via Ma cause platform. The exhibition will be accessible to visitors by booking a free timed-entry ticket. This is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with art that feels good and that does good!
A panel discussion titled “La création et la santé mentale” will be presented as part of a new partnership with Artch. It will take place on Monday, September 13 at 5 p.m. at the Agora. Artists from Artch, as well as Amélie Pellerin, M.D. Leon Tourian, Lorraine Palardy and Jonas Brass participate. The general public wishing to attend must reserve a place at the online ticket office.
This year, the purchase of works at market value will be available only for a selection of works among donations from private collections. In addition, the option will be valid only between September 18 at 8 a.m. and September 22 at midnight. Those wishing to buy an artwork during that period will be abble to do so by clicking on a button directly on the bidding platform.
For this 23rd edition, the actor James Hyndman will act as spokesperson, alongside Matteo Esteves. Manon Gauthier, Executive Director of the Jean Paul Riopelle Foundation, will hold the role of chair of the honorary committee for a second year. The guest artists of this edition will be Michel Goulet and Caroline Monnet.
The exhibition features over 300 pieces created by Impatients and professional artists, as well as prestigious donations from collectors. All proceeds from the virtual auction will support Les Impatients’ mission.
